Introduction of me

Hi everyone.  My name is Tiffany.  I am 24 years old as of December 17th.  I am married to the love of my life, Derek, since September 10th.  For those of you who like numbers, the wedding date was 9/10/11.  Yeah, that means we're awesome :)  I have a cat.  His name is Dusty: or often times -  little shit, little one, buddy - depending on his annoyance level for the day.  I recently moved to Ann Arbor with my husband.  I graduated December 16th from Saginaw Valley with a BA in Art; concentrating in photography, and a minor in Psychology.  I am now an Art Therapist in training at Wayne State University.

I love art.  I love photography.  I love animals.  Nuff said.

I am starting my New Year Resolution today.  Yes, I know it's February 1st.  At least it's at the beginning of a month…I totally could have started in the middle of May and thrown everyone for a loop.  But while watching Kathy Lee and Hoda (which, by the way, I detest their day time show.  They make me want to go drink at 10am to forget them) they interviewed a woman and talked about resolutions.  This woman said that it doesn't matter if you start your resolution in the middle of the year or at the beginning.  It matters only if you are determined to make a change and continue what you started.

I've always heard that to improve something about yourself that you should do it every day.  Take photography for example.  To get better, or to see improvement, one must document success or achievement.  Through this blog, I aim to photograph something, anything, at least once a day.  I want to see where I go in the next year with my photography and my artwork in general.  Not only will I believe I will improve my skill, but I also believe I will actually remember to take my camera with me wherever I go (I have trouble with forgetting things!).  I have no idea what I will photograph.  I guess I will know when I see it.

I hope I don't go this journey alone, as it would be a boring one to share my work to a blank wall.  So join me as I make this treacherous but wonderful journey into my mind's eye.
